Jaco Kayak Fishing Charters
The amazing fishing scene in Jaco, Costa Rica just got richer for a new kayak adventure! Join Captain Alejandro and his brother, both of whom share a passion for fishing and know all the best fishing spots in the area. They also offer fishing trips from a boat, so if you’re interested, check out their second listing.
The captain will meet you next to the hotel Club del Mar. From there you’ll drive to your launching spot in less than 20 minutes. The exact spot always changes because it depends on the tides and the weather. You’ll use 13’ Hobie kayaks, which means you’ll use pedals, not paddles. You’ll also get life vests and cooler bags.
You’ll visit the reefs and inshore waters of the area, where you’ll target Roosterfish, Mahi Mahi, Tuna, Snapper, Mackerel, and many more. Depending on what you want to catch, the captain will apply different fishing techniques and show you how to do them yourself. You can keep the catch after the trip, so let that be an extra motivation for reeling them in!
The captain will provide your fishing equipment, snacks, and drinks. You’ll catch live bait on your way to the main targets. Feel free to bring your food and don’t forget a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen. All guests need to be at least 14 years old.
Get your legs ready for pedaling and your arms for reeling! Join Jaco Kayak Fishing Charters today!
