Fishing Charter Puerto Rico
Fishing Charter Puerto Rico specializes in light tackle and fly fishing off the coast of Carolina, Puerto Rico. You’ll have the chance to experience some of the many world-class fishing grounds of San Juan with Captain Alejandro Velez. He’s a successful tournament angler who’s been fishing these waters since he was a young boy, making him one of the most experienced captains on these waters!
The captain’s boat is a 16’ Hewes skiff, outfitted with top-of-the-line tackle, fly fishing equipment, a fishfinder, and wireless trolling motor. The shallow draft makes it easy to maneuver through skinny waters, and she comes with a raised platform so you can spot your target before it sees you. The boat accommodates up to 3 guests and kids of all ages are welcome aboard.
Capt. Alejandro will take you fishing on the San Juan Lagoon to target a variety of species such as Tarpon, Snook, and Jack Crevalle. On longer trips, you’ll go further out into nearshore territory to catch King Mackerel, Barracuda, and even Red Snapper if the weather permits! Capt. Alejandro prefers targeting big fish on light tackle for the ultimate challenge, and he provides top-quality Shimano gear on all of his trips.
Fly fishing gear for 2 guests is also available. If you’re new to the fly game, he’ll show you how it’s done and help you along the way. If you’re an experienced fly fisherman then he’ll step back and let you take it from there. No matter your level of experience, Capt. Alejandro will customize your trip based on your preferences and needs.
Your fishing license is covered as well, so just come straight down to the Cangrejo Yacht Club, and the rest will be taken care of. You can bring snacks and drinks and store them in the captain’s cooler. Be sure to pack some sunblock and mosquito repellant, too.
Last but not least, bring a camera to capture each special moment as it unfolds. Book your trip today and join Fishing Charter Puerto Rico for an unforgettable adventure in Carolina, PR
