Captain Nicholas Boyd is a native of the area, born and raised in Beaufort SC. He has been fishing the local tidal estuaries for over 15 years. Growing up on the sea islands of Beaufort, Nicholas’ father introduced him to fishing at a very young age. Fishing became his passion. When he was finally old enough to drive he was constantly on the water exploring and learning the fisheries around Beaufort and Hilton Head Island. Captain Nicholas specializes in light tackle, sight fishing, bait fishing, bottom fishing, and is an expert fly fisherman and fly tier. These skills were also introduced to him at a young age and have since become his biggest obsession in fishing. Nicholas is laid back, easy-going, patient, respectful, and professional when he is guiding clients and doesn’t mind at all on helping teach people of all ages on how to catch fish. He is a hard-working and super knowledgeable guide, who also likes to play things safe when he is out on the water!
