Crazy Tuna Sportfishing
On the west coast of Mexico, to the far north, you’ll find city of Escanada, and in it – Crazy Tuna Sportfishing! Captain Pedro has been fishing in the area since he was a kid, so he knows all the best spots. The best part of the job for him is that he gets to share an adventure in the ocean with other people. He prefers quality over quantity, so he’ll focus more on the quality of action during the trip, not the sheer number of fish you catch.
Get on a trip with Capt. Pedro even if you’ve never fished before. He’s a patient teacher and will gladly show you the basics and help you out to reel in your first catch.
You’ll meet the captain at the Marina Aquamar and come aboard his 24’ custom-built boat. This center console accommodates up to 5 guests, with enough room for everybody to fish at the same time. The boat has all the necessary navigational and safety equipment, portable toilet, ice box, and a live bait tank.
Your main targets will be Yellowfin Tuna and Yellowtail Amberjack. Longer, offshore trips can also bring you Mahi Mahi or Wahoo on the hook. You can keep the catch and the captain will clean it for a small fee. Spearfishing needs to be requested in advance and arranged with the captain.
Kids ages 2 and up are welcome, so use this opportunity to bring your family along! You’ll need to purchase your fishing license – it’s $10 per person at the marina or $7 online. Bring your snacks and drinks for the day and the captain will fully cover your fishing equipment.
Crazy Tuna Sportfishing will accommodate their trips to your needs, you only need to contact the captain in advance. Visit Ensenada and join Captain Pedro for an enjoyable and exciting day at the ocean.
