Stackin Fish Charters LLC
Captain Larry Stacklin has been fishing Lake Erie for many years and he’s looking forward to showing your party a great day on the lake! He started his own business, Stackin Fish Charters, where he offers fishing trips from April till December. His main focus is targeting Walleye and Perch but you never know what else you might catch!
Capt. Larry welcomes you aboard his 30’ Baha cruiser. The boat accommodates up to 6 anglers and there’s enough room for everyone to fish at the same time. There’s an ice box onboard, a private toilet, a live bait tank, and all navigational and safety gear.
The departure time is usually at 6 a.m. but it’s also flexible if you need it, so just let the captain know what you would prefer. The time needed to get to the exact fishing spot varies due to weather and tide, so it can take from 15 minutes to an hour.
Capt. Larry can teach you all sorts of fishing techniques. You could be casting, drifting, trolling, or doing a combination of all 3. The captain uses live bait, which is bought in advance, so you’ll immediately go after the main catch. Since there’s a catch limit, your trip will last until you reach that limit or the time goes up.
The captain will provide your fishing equipment, Sixgill rods and reels, while you need to purchase your fishing license on time. Bring your snack, drinks, and a cooler if you want to take the catch with you. Catch cleaning service is available at the marina – $1.5 per Walleye and $2 per one pound of Perch.
Stackin Fish Charters will adjust each trip to your needs and skill level. Book your spot now and explore Lake Erie as never before!
