Scallywag Charters caters to anglers of all sizes and skill brackets, whether you’re a seasoned saltwater veteran with a vendetta against a certain species, or a vacationing family without any prior fishing experience, looking to learn a new skill and relax on the Destin waterways.

The boat you will be fishing on is a 22’ Cape Horn Bay Series powered by a 225 Mercury 4-stroke, with a maximum passenger capacity of 6 anglers per trip. The boat is outfitted with a custom tower and features full controls for sight fishing. As for navigational and fish-finding electronics on board, Scallywag carries a top-of-the-line Garmin 740xs chart plotter / sounder combo, fish finder, and radio.

Scallywag Charters specializes in a variety of fishing techniques and methods utilized inside the Choctawhatchee Bay. Inshore trips focus on some of the area’s most popular forage, including Redfish, Seatrout, Sheepshead, and Black Drum.

The prices include all the necessary fishing equipment, as well as live and artificial bait for the day. There are many different species of live bait that you could use, depending on the season, the species you wish to target, and many other factors.
