Fish409 Guide Service
The main aim of Captain Sammy’s Fish409 Guide Service is to ensure that all guests aboard their trip are having a fun time on the water. Catching fish is simply a bonus! Still, it’s a bonus that Capt. Sammy’s customers are rewarded with very often. This is thanks to his 20 years of experience fishing the waters of Galveston Bay. He’s happy to share his knowledge with everyone that joins him on one of his trips.
The boat you’ll be fishing from is a 22’ Trans Cat center console, powered by a 250 HP Suzuki engine. This kind of horsepower means you’ll waste no time getting to the captain’s favorite fishing spots. Despite the boat’s capacity being higher, the captain likes to take a maximum of 4 anglers on all trips, allowing everyone enough room to move around and fish comfortably.
The main species you’ll be targeting are Flounder, Speckled Trout, and Redfish. There are other fish in these waters so your choices are not necessarily limited to these species, but they’re the
fish that Capt. Sammy likes to focus on. It’s easy to see why – they taste great and put up plenty of fight at the end of a line!
If you need the captain to provide you with equipment, let him know ahead of time and he’ll have Waterloo rods and Shimano reels ready for you. Also, if you’d like to try your hand at Flounder gigging, discuss it with the captain ahead of the trip so that he can prepare the equipment for you.
You’ll need to bring along a valid fishing license, any drinks and snacks you’d like, sunglasses and sunscreen, and a cooler for your catch. So if you’ve got those things taken care of, set aside a date and prepare for an incredible adventure with Fish409 Guide Service!
