Located in beautiful Guanacaste Province, Cat Costa Rica charters prides itself on helping guests hook world-famous big game fish. With a professional, experienced, and bilingual crew to guide you, you’ll soon be chasing after the Mahi Mahi, Marlin, or Tuna of your dreams. Come cast off on an incredible angling adventure!
Captain Elias is the man at the helm of Cat Costa Rica, which he runs alongside a friendly crew. Depending on the trip you opt for, you’ll be welcomed by your captain and up to 3 crew members. This means you’ll be treated to plenty of helpful local tips and tricks!
Experience isn’t a barrier when it comes to fishing these glorious waters, either. Guests of all skill levels are warmly welcomed, from hardcore anglers looking to chase huge hard-fighting fish, to families wanting to add an exciting angling adventure to their sun-drenched Costa Rican vacation.
Your captain offers a variety of fishing trips, which all take place on board an impressive 32’ Polar offshore sport fishing vessel. There’s room for up to 7 guests, so you can bring along the whole family, or your best angling buddies. There’s no minimum age for children, and you’ll be provided with life jackets, too.
Fully restored in 2018, this vessel is also decked out with top-quality marine electronics and safety gear, a flybridge, shower, kitchen, and beds. On board, you’ll find outriggers, downriggers, which will come in handy if you want to cover plenty of ground when fishing!
Your captain recommends that newer anglers join him for a shorter trip, which will usually see you targeting species such as Wahoo, Roosterfish, Mahi Mahi, and Snapper. If you have more experience under your belt, you can opt for a longer trip – which means you’ll encounter some seriously huge fish! Tuna species, Sailfish, and Marlin are all in the cards.
Fishing gear, a license, and snacks and drinks are included on every trip. Come aboard Cat Costa Rica and get ready for an unforgettable adventure!
