My wife recently (10/17/20) booked me and my daughters boyfriend a fishing trip as a Birthday gift with Sea Senor.
Communication was excellent from the minute we booked it to the very end..

Captain Alex and Rueben , were the Best, even if we didn’t catch a thing their customer service was second to None .
But Guess What ,we caught great Fish ,5 Dorado’s . Then Alex fileted them for us, gave instruction on packing them for the trip home. Plus cooking tips.
  I can not wait to do this again, and without a doubt .I will be doing it with Sea Senor Sportfishing.
  Thank you Alex for a fun ,safe ,relaxing and exciting time all wrapped up in a 5 hour trip. Definitely a day I will never forget .

Gotta start off by saying that everything about this trip was first class.  To start off I was concerned about the early start times but I was able to reach out and move the start without problem.  Alex will be in constant contact so you can feel assured that your trip will be a success.  We got very clear directions on how to get to the boat as well as a video to show to the taxi driver so getting to the boat was a breeze.

Once onboard we grabbed some bait and a hot tip for where the action was.  We had the choice for what we wanted to target but opted to follow the tip since it lined up with what Alex(captain) had been told the day before.  The boat has twin 225 outboards so we flew by other boats and were headed to the honey hole in no time

Within 1 hour of getting on the boat we were in the thick of it and had fish on.  The action was pretty consistent, and Alex did a steller job of constantly rotating lures, rods, and piloting the boat to deftly navigate the traffic from others who also wanted in on the action.  From what I observed, other boats were having luck, but it seemed like we had more as we were constantly pulling fish on the boat . 

Total fish hooked on the day was 10 Yellowtail Tuna, 1 Spanish Mackerel, 1 Dorado(lost it), and 8 Skipjack Tuna(catch and release). 

Also since it was whale watching season, we got great views of whales breaching and playing while we trolled, and it was an even better value with that included.

Alex is very personable and easy to talk to. He is fluent in English and Spanish.  The water temperature dropped 5 degrees nearly overnight and he told us right away that a lot of the fish probably moved out to deeper and warmer waters, so fishing could be tough.
Nonetheless, Alex was always watching the water for signs of fish and trying different baits in different waters. He was also listening to other fisherman on the radio and was also pointing out wales to us regularly. We caught some fish, including a rooster fish, which we had never heard of.  We would book with him again.

    I have used many charters out of both the San Jose DC and Cabo San Lucas marinas. My full day trip with Alex of Sea Señor has been the best. He suggested a specific driver for pick up at our hotel in San Jose who knew exactly where to drop me off and then again pickup at the end of the day. Alex made it clear what he provided and for what I was responsible.
We were on the 30ft boat, it was very clean and comfortable. Alex reviewed what fish were being caught in the area and together with what I preferred to go after, we put a plan together. The species of fish in the waters around Cabo changes depending on the time of year.
I don’t speak spanish but with Alex being fluent in both english and spanish, the day was much more enjoyable as compared to when I’ve been with a spanish speaking crew only.
Alex actively fished the entire time we were on the water. He was always checking the horizon for evidence of activity suggesting a fishing opportunity. On other charters, I’ve had the experience where after you’ve caught a few fish, the effort to catch more decreases significantly and you feel like your just out for a boat ride.
Alex was patient with my use of the rod and gear. I only use this deep sea gear once a year so I’m still no pro. The gear was either new or in very good repair. We caught spanish mackerel, bonito and 4 yellow fin tuna which was exactly what I was looking for. Alex filleted and packaged the fish that I wanted to keep.For my wife and I, eating our own fish at the local restaurants that will prepare it for us, is a highlight of the trip.
Will be booking again with Sea Señor next year.

A perfect morning and early afternoon w Alex aboard his immaculate Boston whaler. Super comfy as our wives attested. He even had breakfast burritos for us and put us on fish right away. To top it off, the wives wanted a whale show and boy did we get one. Alex shared some good fishing stories as he grew up in the Fl Keys and has been here for over 8 yrs and definitely knows his stuff.
