Run by Capt. Paul Fafeita, Just Bummin It Charters offer a fun and family friendly fishing service in the area around Vero Beach, Florida. Fishing usually takes place in the Indian River Lagoon, the most biodiverse lagoon ecosystem in the Northern Hemisphere. Home to over 3,000 species of plants and animals including Brown Pelicans, Great Blue Herons, Great Egrets and Manatees, this is also an incredibly productive area for inshore saltwater fishing.

Capt. Paul’s 22ft Ranger Bay Boat is built specifically for inshore and nearshore fishing. This high end skiff is equipped with comfortable seating, a wireless trolling motor and a spacious live bait tank. The comfortable “bow” fighting chair lets you tackle bigger fish effectively, while a Fishfinder, GPS and a VHF radio help guide you to fish. There is plenty of space for up to three fishermen on board, and all the extras you might need are supplied.

Most charter trips will involve fishing the Indian Lagoon and the Fort Pierce Inlet for the large variety of species available in the area. Depending on tides and season this could include the Indian River slam of Redfish, Snook and Trout, as well as several varieties of Snapper, Sheepshead, small Bonnethead Sharks, Black Drum, Spanish Mackerel, Ladyfish, Barracuda and Tarpon. Capt. Paul always carries a variety of baits and artificial lures, usually fishing with live shrimp but always having hard and soft plastics on hand.

Just Bummin It Guide Service focuses on providing a fun, family friendly fishing trip to anglers of all levels of experience. Capt. Paul Fafeita was born and raised around Vero Beach and has fished the area for over 50 years.

Fishing was a little slow but capt paul worked very hard to make sure we caught fish and had a great time. Dolphins, stingrays, and lots about the history of vero and all it has to offer made this trip memorable.

Thank you very much Dr. Chey for letting me share the day with you and your 2 sons.  Fishing was slow but the weather and sights made up for it.  Thanks again and I hope I see you again in the future.  Wishing you and your family a Very Happy New Year.
