Your boat for the day is a 36’ custom-built sportfisher with a spacious flybridge for you to enjoy the amazing view. The boat is equipped with state-of-the-art navigational technology, safety gear, and fishing tackle. She comes with outriggers, a fighting chair, tuna tubes, a live bait tank, and a cooler for food and drinks.
Inside the cabin, you’ll find a V-berth lounge, a private head, and plenty of space for up to 8 guests to kick back and relax. Kids ages 8 and up are welcome aboard and the captain provides life jackets for them as well.
Capt. Juan offers both deep sea excursions and inshore fishing trips. On 4-hour trips, you’ll stay within the bay to target small game fish such as Sierra Mackerel and many others. This is a perfect chance for young children to find their sea legs and learn the basics of fishing. 6-hour trips will see you fishing along the edge of the bay, targeting larger fish, such as Jack Crevalle, Roosterfish, and False Albacore.
Longer excursions are perfect for those looking to fish further offshore. On 8-hour trips, you’ll head up to 20–40 miles from the coast to target Mahi Mahi, Skipjack, various types of Pacific Snapper, and more. Capt. Juan’s 12-hour trip will have you targeting big game fish such as Marlin, Sailfish, and Yellowfin Tuna between 40–60 miles offshore.
Top-quality tackle made by Shimano, Penn, Okuma, and Avet is included, as well as your license and cleaning and filleting services. Just be sure to bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen and get ready for an incredible adventure with Redbone Team Sportfishing!
