Let Steelhead Charters be your guide for fishing on Lake Michigan if you want to have a memorable day and catch plenty of fish. Captain Arthur Schotts has been fishing in the area for over 45 years and he knows all the hidden hot-spots.
Lake Michigan is one of the best fishing places in the United States. A Great Lake indeed, not only because of its size but also thanks to the huge amount of fish. It’s great for catching Chinook and Coho Salmon, as well as Steelhead, Lake, and Brown Trout.
Join the captain on the “Fish Stix,” a 30′ Wellcraft Express Cruiser with twin Mercruiser V-8 engines. This boat is truly a tournament-style fishing machine. The Fish Stix accommodates up to 6 guests and 3 crew members, however, river trips are limited to 4 people. It also has a private bathroom, a place to rest, and a covered area to keep you away from the rain.
Capt. Arthur uses a variety of fishing equipment and he’ll provide you with everything you need, including fly fishing gear if you want to try out this technique. He’ll also cover your lures, live bait, and clean the catch after the trip. You’ll need to purchase your fishing license and bring your snacks and drinks. Please don’t bring sunscreen because it can damage the boat, the captain will provide you with an adequate replacement.
Steelhead Charter always strives for its guests to have a great time on the boat, lots of fish to take home, and captivating fishing stories to tell years to come. Book your spot and see what’s your story going to be like!
