Tails Of The Tides Lowcountry Fishing Charter

Tails of the Tides Lowcountry Fishing Charter is a top-notch inshore guide service located just outside of Charleston, SC. Owned and operated by Captain Caleb Andrews, Tails of the Tides Lowcountry Fishing Charters is dedicated to providing customers with safe, fun and affordable inshore fishing adventures. Come aboard and discover what the bountiful Lowcountry has to offer!

As your captain and guide, Capt. Caleb’s top priority is to provide his guests with a memorable day on the waters of Charleston’s Lowcountry. He works relentlessly to make sure that you’ll have as many opportunities as possible to catch your target fish. Together, you’ll work on learning and improving necessary angling skills, which hopefully will lead to a “hero shot” with the fish of a lifetime!

You’ll be traveling aboard Capt. Caleb’s 16’ Dolphin flats boat, capable of accommodating up to 2 guests. This means that you’ll get to experience plenty of hands-on activities, and will receive one-on-one attention and helpful tips and tricks from your captain. Your vessel is decked out with top-quality navigational and safety gear to ensure a comfortable and secure journey.

In Capt. Caleb’s opinion, there are two ways to approach inshore fishing. He believes that the ultimate option is to actively pursue your fish by sight fishing using a fly rod, or light tackle spinning rod. The other way is to target different areas by dropping bait. Ultimately, sight fishing will be the aim of your game!

This style of fishing offers some of the most spectacular rewards and allows you to experience the Lowcountry’s fishery from an amazing perspective. It will also give you the chance to target prized species such as huge Bull Reds, Speckled Trout, Tarpon, Black Drum, and whatever else is biting!

You can opt to use fly or conventional gear, which your captain will provide for you, as well as your fishing license. Come experience these prolific waters with Tails Of The Tides Lowcountry Fishing Charter!

I am a licensed USCG captain and Eagle Scout with over 20 years of fly fishing experience. In 2012, an engineering job moved me to South Carolina, where my passion for fishing and being on the water led me to explore the inshore marshlands of the Lowcountry. For over 6 years I have worked hard putting in countless hours to unlock some of the secrets our amazing fishery has to offer. With my passion for fishing, professional experience guiding, and knowledge of our local waters I will provide a memorable experience exploring the amazing sight fishing opportunities the Lowcountry marsh provides. I have had a great deal of success in a relatively short amount of time due to my relentless pursuit of the fish and passion to identify subtle details within our complex and difficult fishery that ultimately make the all the difference.
