Into The Depths Sportfishing is your ticket to the stunning waters of San Diego.

You’re likely to fish for Halibut, Bluefin Tuna, Calico Bass, Rockfish, Lingcod, and more with any luck. You’ll target your catch by spinning, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Any fish within the legal limit is yours to keep. Plus, you can have your catch cleaned. Now that’s dinner!

Trips with Into The Depths Sportfishing are child-friendly, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Some essentials to bring are snacks, drinks, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Your excursion begins aboard a 24’ Boston Whaler that can carry up to 3 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Your Captain has rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.

You might need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

We are a 4-pack charter operation located on San Diego Bay, offering everything from local half-day trips to full-day offshore trips. We have 2 boats listed for charters. We've been running charters since 2014, and we take first-time fishermen, experienced pros, and also kids! We will help you with everything while on the boat. We fully enjoy being on the ocean and being able to take people fishing and show them how fun and rewarding it is!
