Fishing Beyond

Fishing in Denmark should be on everyone’s bucket list. If you’ve not been yet, book a trip with Fishing Beyond for a top day out. Spend the day with Captain Emil and his first mate – his father. This dynamic duo have been fishing together since Emil was a child and know all the best places to go for the most productive day out.

They are also currently working with the National Institute of Aquatic Resources. This is where they are releasing and tagging Bluefin Tuna when caught, to study their behavior and support the conservation and sustainability of Bluefin. Be a part of something bigger when you go fishing with Fishing Beyond.

Hop on board the 34’ center console Svendborg Yacht, perfect for groups of 4 to fish from in comfort. This is a safe boat with lots of fishing space that can go further out than most – it’s built for serious offshore fishing.

You’ll be targeting a range of species, including Wolffish, Lingcod, Haddock, Halibut, Cod, and even Swordfish. The captain knows a range of reefs, wrecks, and deep drop points to target each species. The furthest you’ll head out is 30 miles, which can take up to 2 hours to reach.

Children over 5 years of age are welcome on board and will have life vests provided for them.

Everything you need for the day is included in the price. This includes top quality rods and reels from Penn and Shimano. Water, soft drinks, chips, cookies, cakes, and a buffet lunch are provided on board.

You’ll need to purchase a fishing license before the trip begins and bring along a waterproof jacket. Alcohol is not allowed on board.

Book a trip today with Fishing Beyond for a trip way beyond your expectations! Have a great day fishing in Denmark with this father-and-son team.

Meet at 6:30 a.m. at the marina to go over the safety procedures and leave at dawn. There are good spots 15-20 minutes from the harbour. Can then go further offshore (up to 2 hours/30 miles out) looking for bigger fish on wrecks, reefs, and rocks. If targetting Swordfish, you'll head to the 1,200' curve and rig up, typically with one or two rods dropping deep. You might see dolphins, killer whales, and BIG Bluefin Tuna out here! Note, it's not allowed to fish for Bluefin Tuna due to conservation works.

Captain Emil has been fishing with his dad his whole life. He decided to get his captains license in 2019 to spread his love of fishing with others. His father is the First Mate on board – he has a lot of knowledge to share, knows how to sail in rough weather, and always makes your safety a priority. Together, Emil and his father are a great team. Capt. Emil loves the water and he loves the possibility of catching a 20-25 kg Cod or even a Shark. He's very enthusiastic about the Tuna project he's working on and conservation of the marine life in general.
