Are you ready for an awesome trip on the Indian River? Then book a trip with Stay Bent Charters. Captain Tommy has been fishing his whole life and knows the best places to take you for the most productive day out. Beginners are welcome on board as Capt. Tommy will help you step by step to fish.

You and one other can spend the day out on a 19’ flats boat. This boat is decked out with safety and navigational gear so you can fish with peace of mind. The wireless trolling motor gives you an extra edge to get closer to your prey in the shallow waters.

Species that call these waters home include Redfish, Snook, Spotted Seatrout, Flounder, Jack Crevalle, and more. After the trip, the captain can clean your catch for you. Capt. Tommy does support catch and release and will happily tell you about why catch and release is so important to the environment.

The captain offers morning trips and afternoon trips, as well as a split day trip. This is perfect for those that want longer on the water and still avoid the midday heat.

Children over 5 are welcome on board but must be accompanied by an adult. Life vests are available. Kids will love learning to fish and a great story to tell their friends back home.

The captain will provide you with light tackle spinning rods and lures for your trip. These won’t let you down when reeling in your next big catch!

The captain will provide water on all trips and a fishing license for the whole group. Feel free to bring along other drinks and your own snacks. There’s plenty of storage on board for you too.

    Beat the heat and fish in the morning – departure time is flexible. This is a 4-hour trip perfect for 2 people. Some of the fish you might target include Redfish, Flounder, Spotted Seatrout, and more. The captain will provide water, but feel free to bring other drinks and your own snacks for the trip. All fishing rods and reels for the day are included in the price along with the fishing license for your group.

    Spend 4-hours fishing in the afternoon. You'll target a range of species, including Snook, Redfish, Flounder, and more. The captain will provide rods, reels, the fishing license for the group, and water. You'll need to bring snacks, other drinks if needed, and sun protection. The captain offers flexible departure time if needed.

    8 Hour Trip, starts at 8:00 AM

    On this split trip, you'll leave the dock at 6 a.m. in the morning and fish until 10 a.m. Then you'll take a break and meet back at the dock at 4 p.m. and fish until 8 p.m. This is a great trip to avoid the heat but still do plenty of fishing! You'll target a range of species, including Jack Crevalle, Redfish, Flounder, Spotted Seatrout, Snook, and more. The captain will provide you with water, rods, reels, and fishing license. You'll need to bring your own snacks, sun protection, and any other drinks.

"I grew up in Ft Pierce fishing the Indian River and the beaches." Captain Tommy has been fishing his whole life and decided in 2019 to open his own charter business to pass on his considerable knowledge to his customers. He also enjoys saltwater fishing and supports catch and release – he'll happily talk to you about the reasons behind catch and release on your trip. Anglers of all experience levels are welcome on board – Capt. Tommy will show you the ropes and have you fishing in no time. He is very flexible with his time and approach and highly accommodating.
