Ramblin Man Sportfishing offers world-class deep sea fishing. You can go on inshore and offshore charters that are great for families and children. Captain Nick grew up fishing the waters out of Morehead City and has the local knowledge to ensure success.

Get on board his 55’ Custom Carolina Gwaltney sportfishing boat built for fishing these waters. It provides a smooth and comfortable ride for its guests. It also offers a large cockpit that includes 3 fighting chairs, a large fish box, and an icebox for drinks.

The main salon provides comfortable leather couch seating with air conditioning and a full kitchen that includes a refrigerator and freezer. As you go down below you’ll find a full bathroom facility with a shower, along with a master room and forward V-berth bunks.

With tournament wins under his belt, Captain Nick knows how to put you on the fish! You’ll use top-of-the-line Penn International and Shimano gear, as well as custom tackle that is tailor-made to target fish off the coast of North Carolina.

Target a variety of inshore and offshore species depending on the trip you choose. Expect to catch creatures like Mahi Mahi, Marlin, Amberjack, Cobia, Sailfish, Tuna, Mackerel, Triggerfish, and Wahoo. If you’d like to take your catch home, the crew can clean it for you for an additional charge.

The first mate is there to assist you in getting your fish on board, and to answer any questions you may have. The mate is usually the first one to the boat in the morning and the last one to leave in the afternoon so a customary 15-20% tip is appreciated. Make sure to bring some sun protection, some food and drinks so that you can relax and enjoy your trip.

Whether it’s filling the cooler or chasing after the fish of a lifetime, Ramblin Man Sportfishing looks forward to providing you and your crew with a memorable day on the water!

I started fishing in this area at a very young age with my grandparents and my father on the family boat. As I got older, my interest only grew which lead me to go farther offshore and search for bigger fish. My father and I started fishing local tournaments and I treat every trip as a tournament trying to do better than my last trip.
