Trip Summary

This week Ive seen some nice tarpon pods along the beaches. These groups or "pods" of fish range from 20 to 100's of fish. They swim along the beaches rolling and breaking the surface as they swim by. Client Ted was able to hook up this week. Bait of choice have been live crabs or pilchards. The goliath's are always happy to snatch up a quick meal as clients Eric & Bill found out. During their trip they hooked into multiple fish, at one time breaking the 50-130lb rod right in half. Bill had to finish the day on the hand-line. They were both successful in catching their BIG grouper.
