Captain Zach Charters is inviting all anglers looking for a true Florida offshore fishing experience to go after the catch of a lifetime! Federally licensed and located in Gulfport, the charter is able to run trips as far as 60 miles offshore and access some of the richest fishing grounds the Gulf has to offer.
The boat that will take you to these fishing grounds is a 27’ Sea Hunt center console, powered by dual 200 HP Yamaha engines. Equipped with radar, navigation, communication, and fish finding electronics, the vessel provides anglers with all the tools you’ll need for a productive fishing adventure.
Another crucial piece of equipment is the Rhodan 84 offshore trolling motor. It’s extremely useful for holding the boat steady over the reefs, ledges, and wrecks, without the need for an anchor.
The boat can accommodate up to 6 guests who can all fish together comfortably. Kids are welcome to join in on the trips and will be provided with appropriate life jackets. The recommended minimum age for the young ones coming aboard is 8.
Captain Zach uses high-end fishing gear, mostly Daiwa and Shimano. He has both conventional and spinning setups to make sure his clients are comfortable with the equipment they’re using. If you’re deep dropping, you’ll also have access to Daiwa electric reels.
Also included in the price is any bait you’ll be using on the trip. Live bait will be caught or bought prior to the trip so you can get to fishing for your targeted species as soon as possible. A fishing license is also included in the price so the only things that you should bring are food, drinks, sunscreen, hats, sunglasses. The captain will provide water and ice and there’s both cold and dry storage on board.
Now, check the captain’s calendar, find an open day that works for you, and book your offshore adventure with Captain Zach today!
