Salmon River Wading Trip
Come experience the great outdoors and have your “Dreams Come True” while wade fishing the Salmon River and other creeks of Lake Ontario. Captain and Guide Rick Pecci will guide you to the best honey holes and put you on amazing fish while surrounded by New York’s beautiful wildlife. With 4 decades of experience under his belt, Capt. Rick can fish with his eyes closed and still finish the day with a stringer of fish. He’s just that good!
Your fishing destinations for the day will include the Salmon River and various Creeks. All locations are part of Lake Ontario’s vast network of rivers and creeks that connect the Great Lakes. These waters are packed with exciting Salmon species, and you’ll have your fair chance of catching a limit to take home.
Some of your target species include Chinook and Coho Salmon or Steelhead.
Capt. Rick welcomes children ages 8 and up to join in on the action. He’s an excellent guide and patient teacher who enjoys teaching kids and novice anglers how to fish for the first time. His trips are family-friendly and perfect for father-son or mother-daughter bonding time!
Top-of-the-line rods and reels and all the baits are included in the trip. Just be sure to bring your own waders and wear extra layers of clothing. The rest will be taken care of.
Also, make sure you purchase a New York State Freshwater Fishing License before your trip. You can do so online by visiting New York State’s official website or by stopping at a local bait and tackle shop along the way. Feel free to pack some snacks and drinks, as well as any other personal items you may need in a back pack.
