Pino's Fishing Charter
San José del Cabo’s waters are bustling with some world-famous big game fish. Who could be better equipped to help you explore them than a local, experienced captain? Captain Fredy Pino, who grew up fishing these waters with his dad and brothers, is just the angler for you. He can’t wait to welcome you aboard Pino’s Fishing Charter and have you become part of his extraordinary fishing family!
Capt. Fredy has been running his charter since 2005. You really couldn’t meet anyone more knowledgeable and passionate about the sportfishing opportunities these waters hold. Along with his years of experience, Capt. Fredy’s friendly, welcoming nature is the reason why his charter has really stood the test of the time.
You’ll be fishing from a 22’ Panga center console, with room for up to 3 guests. You’ll all be able to fish at the same time, which gives plenty of opportunity for a friendly onboard fishing competition! Children of all ages are welcome aboard, too, and life jackets are provided. The vessel is decked out with top-quality safety and navigational gear, as well as an ice box for your snacks and drinks.
When it comes to angling action on offer, Capt. Fredy says it best himself: “We’re talking big fish here!” Opt for a shorter trip, and you’ll battle tropical Roosterfish close to the shore, as well as bottom fishing for stunning Snappers and fast-moving Wahoo along the reefs.
On longer trips, your captain will take you up to 15 miles out – within less than 10 miles, you’ll usually encounter Billfish! Trolling for Mahi Mahi to Marlin, Sailfish to Tuna, you’ll battle it out with some of the ocean’s most majestic creatures. It usually takes up to 45 minutes to find a good spot, which leaves plenty of angling time.
Your trip includes rods, reels, lures, and tackle. You’ll have to bring along snacks, drinks, and a license, but your captain can purchase these for you at an extra cost. Get ready to become part of Pino’s Fishing Charter’s incredible fishing family!
