Discover a new haven just a stone’s throw from the bustling downtown of Mombasa. Waterfords “Whatever IT Takes” promises to take you to the pristine waters of the Indian Ocean, as you forget all your cares and go up against some of the world’s most sought-after fish.
Captain Nas Khan has been looking after boats for decades, building his own in 1994, before purchasing this beauty in 2010. He’s been running charters since 2012, and promises a personalized, productive trip to Kenya’s best offshore fishing spots.
Strong and sturdy, the 37’ Bertram offshore sportfishing boat will keep you safe on the choppy waters, with plenty of comfortable seating in the air-conditioned cabin and on the spacious deck. Up to 6 guests are welcome aboard to make yourselves at home. Take advantage of the kitchen, bunk, and toilet, as well as all the fishing gear you’ll need for a productive day out.
You’ll mostly troll the open waters to entice the bite of some monster pelagics that call these waters home, but you can also try bottom fishing and jigging. Whatever your preferred method, you’ll need to bring your A-game to land the beasts that live here.
Marlin, Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, Tuna, Kingfish, Snappers, Trevallies, and many more prized creatures won’t give up without a fight after being hooked. Get ready to work up a sweat to hook ‘em aboard, with the prize of a trophy-sized catch and a delicious dinner, keeping the adrenaline pumping.
At the end of your trip, the crew will clean and fillet your catch free of charge, and you can even head to a beachside restaurant to enjoy the fruits of your labor for just $5. Let the memories of a thrilling day out live long into the night!
Trips can last anywhere from 6 hours to overnight on the boat, just get in touch with Capt. Nas if you’d like him to arrange accommodation.
Waterfords “Whatever IT Takes” will show you some of the world’s most productive fishing grounds, so why not come aboard and make all your fishing dreams come true?
