Tejas Salt

Come aboard with Tejas Salt and discover some of the country’s best inshore fishing. Explore Galveston Bay year-round, as you put your fishing skills to the test against a range of fish. Whether you’re a novice or a pro, your experienced captain will do everything he can to make sure the trip is tailored to you.

Captain Steve Hammack is a lifelong fisherman, having fished saltwater since 1996. He loves sharing his experience and knowledge with all kinds of anglers and is just as adept in helping kids land their first catch as he is in giving a professional fishing trip.

The 24’ JH Performance center console has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Up to 3 guests are welcome aboard with two coolers provided for fish and drinks and snacks. 3 can fish directly from the boat, or you can all hop in the water and wade fish.

Reaching speeds of up to 50 knots, you’ll be on fishing spots in no time, spending the maximum time fishing. Rods, reels, and tackle are provided and live bait can be provided at market rate.

You’ll be mainly going after Speckled Trout, Redfish, and Flounder. These are the most targeted species in Galveston Bay because they are fun to catch and great to eat! Just make sure to bring a medium cooler to transport your catch. The captain will happily clean and fillet the fish for you.

With everything you need awaiting on board, all you need to do is grab your Texas fishing license, sunscreen, a hat and sunglasses and away you go. Come aboard with Tejas Salt and explore the riches of Galveston Bay in true Texan style!
