Prime Zulu Charters
Experience the thrill of Mozambican fishing with Prime Zulu Charters and lean on the knowledge of Captain Tarreck to get on that particular fish you’ve been dreaming of catching. Offering a variety of trips, the charter aims to cater to all types of anglers.
The Prime Zulu team is well-versed in all facets of angling. They’re experienced in kayak fishing, diving, spearfishing, and they always know where the fish are and what they are eating.
The boat you’ll be fishing from is a 2015, 22’ Seacat catamaran, powered by twin 100 HP Yamaha engines. Fully geared-up, it features outriggers, downriggers, and Tuna tubes – making it extremely versatile and allowing you to employ a variety of techniques to go after your target.
Although the max capacity of the Seacat is 6 guests, depending on the technique, not all guests can fish at the same time. Anglers typically take turns when trolling and bottom fishing allows 3 guests to fish at the same time.
Tarreck favors Shimano when it comes to fishing gear but recently he also started liking the new Daiwa BG series and owns a few of those reels as well. If you’d like to get a taste of local fly fishing he can also provide fly fishing equipment but he encourages fly fishing enthusiasts to bring the gear they’re familiar with.
Spearfishing and snorkeling are available upon request and all necessary equipment will be provided by the charter. Tarreck has two spearguns available although he absolutely requires all guests to be experienced in spearfishing before he can incorporate this technique into the trip.
The only things that are not included in the price are the food and drinks, everything else will be provided. Live bait will be caught along the way if necessary and fishing licenses are covered as well.
Now, find an opening in the calendar, book a trip that fits your angling goals and you’ll be ready to start planning your Mozam-venture!
