Head Hunter Charters are on a mission to take you fishing and show you a great time while you’re catching big fish on the NSW South Coast. They operate out of Bermagui and Merimbula and can take you to the reefs and the offshore waters, which are rich with the most desirable big game fish. You can catch a Marlin or a Tuna almost any day here!
The summer months can see the East Australian Current bring warm currents down from the north into Bermagui and with them all three species of Marlin. As the summer comes to an end, Yellowfin Tuna in excess of 60kg begin to populate these waters, making this a prime spot for some excellent game fishing.
Head Hunter Charters can also take you reef fishing for huge Snappers, Yellowtail Kingfish, Morwong, and Flathead. All tackle is provided and kept strictly to IGFA standards and maintained meticulously by the crew.
You will fish aboard a 41’ Steber boat – the “Head Hunter” herself. Powered by two 425 HP Yanmar engines, she can reach speeds of over 30 knots. This is a large and comfortable boat, with a full cockpit, a full-size salon, toilet, shower, kitchen, a multimedia system and a large flybridge.
This boat is designed from the ground up for offshore adventures, and its crew is there to make sure you have a trip of a lifetime. Your trip can start from Ulladulla to Eden, and most ports in-between, for a truly customised adventure. All full day charters include morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea.
Head Hunter’s mission is to cater to your needs. Whether it be your first time fishing or you’re chasing a record, they can create a package just for you.
