Best Seattle Fishing Charter
The Pacific Northwest has a lot to offer to passionate anglers and Best Seattle Fishing knows that better than anyone! Team up with Best Seattle Fishing and they will use their years of experience to find you some solid fishing action.
Your guide makes it his mission to organize a trip that will not only be productive but also fun and memorable. Take your pick between 4- and 6-hour trips and hit the water anytime from January to mid-March to find the best bite.
At this time of year, King (Chinook) Salmon reigns supreme in the Seattle waters, as well as Blackmouth (juvenile) Salmon and Steelhead. Puget Sound is one of the well-known spots for targeting these silvery acrobats, and that’s exactly where your guide will take you. He will provide all the necessary equipment, including quality Shimano reels and Okuma rods.
You’ll be casting your line out of a 26’ aluminum fisher that has plenty of room to accommodate up to 6 people. The boat is rigged with a 260 HP Volvo Penta engine which makes it stable and fast on different bodies of water. You’ll mostly do trolling and mooching, depending on what works best in the current fishing conditions.
When you’re not reeling in your catch, you might spot seals and whales in the distance, which is always a great bonus. When you come back to land, Capt. Cary will clean and fillet the fish for you, which means you can have a Salmon feast as soon as you come home.
To prepare for your expedition, you’ll need to buy a fishing license, and dress warmly, preferably in layers. It’s recommended to bring rain gear because the weather can turn mid-trip, and you don’t want to be caught unawares. Your guide will have some snacks and water on board, but you’re welcome to bring your own as well.
If you’re coming with your little ones, it’s best that they’re 7 and older, that way they can actively participate and learn how to catch fish.
With Best Seattle Fishing, you get to experience just how enjoyable Salmon fishing can be!
