Prime Adventures (Prime Zulu)
With direct access to the plentiful Indian Ocean, Mozambique is a must-visit for fishing fanatics. These waters are bustling with a whole host of world-famous fish and Prime Adventures (Prime Zulu) knows exactly where the hotspots are. Get ready to hook the catch of your dreams in this fisherman’s paradise!
Prime Adventures (Prime Zulu) departs out of Guinjata Bay, located along Mozambique’s rich coastline. Led by Capt. Tarreck, this motley crew is knowledgeable about all types of angling. They especially love introducing guests to topwater fishing, using a special type of Mozambican popper!
You don’t have to be an expert angler to come aboard, either. Your captain and crew warmly welcome guests of all ages and skill levels, and will happily show you how to fish like a pro.
You’ll be traveling on board a 22’ Carry Cat catamaran, capable of accommodating up to 6 guests. She’s decked out with GPS, fishfinder, and tuna tubes, which will give you the opportunity to try out a range of techniques to hook your catch. Children are welcomed on board – just make sure any little ones joining the adventures are ages 5 or above. Your captain will provide life jackets for all ages.
When it comes to the fishing on offer, Mozambique has earned a name for itself when it comes to big game battles. Capt. Tarreck and his crew know exactly where to take you if you want to come face-to-gills with Marlin species, Mahi Mahi, Sailfish, Wahoo, Amberjack, and other hard-fighters. If you’re a newer angler or want to explore waters closer to shore, you’ll be able to target Trevally species, as well as Cobia, and plenty more.
You’ll be provided with conventional fishing gear and a fishing license, so all you need to do is bring along your favourite snacks and drinks. Come aboard Prime Adventures (Prime Zulu) and get ready for an African angling adventure you won’t forget!
