We have over 5 decades of combined experience fishing in this area, and love to take our clients out and show them what makes us the best in the area.

Capt. Chris and Capt. Eric pride themselves in their ability to set up trips that exceed our clients expectations. We will tailor your trip to fit what you want to do! From hook and line trips, spearfishing trips, or just a slow paced Eco Tour around one of our local islands, we are here to help you make the most of your visit to our local area.

We routinely target grouper, snapper, tuna, amberjack, and pompano while offshore. We focus on grouper, snapper, sheepshead, grunts, and tarpon while nearshore. We can set up to drift, troll, or bottom fish based upon our clients needs. We are also available for fishing tournaments, and we are a proud member of the Mercury Marine and MotorGuide Pro Team.

We are a state and federally permitted offshore fishing charter, one of only a handful in the local area. We are also fully licensed and insured, and will always provide a USCG licensed Captain for every trip. Please take the time to make sure that the trip you pick is with a licensed professional.

Thank you for taking the time to look over what we offer, and we look forward to welcoming you onboard.

About the Captain

Chris Barton
Cortez, Florida, United States
Member since March 2015
I am originally from Maine, but moved to the Suncoast at an early age. I grew up fishing Sarasota Bay both from shore and in a small john boat my family owned. I owe my determination and love for fishing to my dad who would spend hours silently standing in shallow water casting for whiting and trout. I also employ another phenomenal angler, Capt Eric Chaignet. Captain Eric started out as a deckhand on a local charter, working for years under several outstanding local Captains before taking the step to getting his own Captains license. His knowledge of local waters, and down to earth personality makes a day out on the water with him enjoyable. A fixture on the local tournament circuit, Capt Chris and Capt Eric consistently place on the leader board, most recently winning the 2015 Tampa Bay Spearfishing Challenge. Our understanding of what is under the water, makes our time above the water that much more productive.
