Kangaroo Island Fishing Adventures

Step aboard South Australia’s premier fishing charter and discover the riches around Kangaroo Island with Kangaroo Island Fishing Adventures. Established in 1999, this professional fishing outfit has hosted thousands of customers from all over the world, and knows exactly what makes a successful fishing trip.

Captain Gavin Solly and his first mate promise to pull out all the stops to make sure you catch exactly what you want. An avid angler since childhood, Capt. Gavin made it his life’s mission to work on the water. From engineering yachts to fishing commercially, he’s done it all, and promises to use all his experience to give you the fishing trip of your dreams.

There are few better vessels to get you exploring the open waters than the 65’ Westcoaster commercial fishing boat. Up to 6 guests are welcome aboard to make yourselves at home in the air-conditioned cabin and spacious deck, that come fitted with all the creature comforts you need. Bring your own drinks and snacks aboard and settle in for a thrilling day. And don’t worry, there’s a private toilet for your convenience, too.

You’ll head up to 20 miles offshore in search of some of the most exciting and delicious fish out there. Sit back while the trolling lines do their work from the outriggers, or try bottom fishing with the latest rods and reels, and you’re in for a whirlwind ride. Push your angling skills and physical strength to the limit, to land beauties such as Trevallies, Kingfish, Snappers, Tuna, and even Sharks.

Everything you need for a productive day awaits you on board. All Capt. Gavin asks is that you come at least 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time, and that you make sure to dress appropriately – especially in winter. Other than that, you’re good to go.

Kangaroo Island Fishing Adventures promises a fishing adventure like no other in some of the world’s most productive waters. Come aboard and learn from the best, before heading home with a boatful of delicious fish!
