The Future of Fishing – Nuevo Vallarta

Step into “The Future of Fishing” and hit up some of the most prolific spots off the coast of Nuevo Vallarta. Captain Greg Pilkington and his team are dedicated to showing you what deep sea sportfishing is all about. With a tournament style boat, equipped with the latest gear and technology, operated by an experienced and international crew, you’ll be sure to have an amazing day!

Their boat is a 30’ Egret performance sportfisher, named the “Topless II.” You’ll spend more time catching fish and less time traveling to the fishing grounds while being powered by twin 300 HP Suzuki engines. This boat is fast, stylish, and fully-loaded with all the top-notch amenities you’d need for a successful fishing trip.

The “Topless II” features state-of-the-art electronics, Gemlux outriggers, a dual livewell, and 2 Tuna tubes. Her spacious deck accommodates up to 6 guests and children of all ages are welcome to join in on the action.

You’ll be able to choose from a range of fishing techniques, including fly fishing, bottom fishing, trolling, jigging, popping, drifting, and kite fishing. All necessary equipment is included, so you don’t have to lug your own stuff around. All of Capt. Greg’s tackle is top-quality, mostly Shimano, with a few other big-named brands.

Depending on the package you choose, you’ll either be fishing up to 50 miles offshore or closer to the coast. Nuevo Vallarta’s waters are brimming with a diverse set of species and the best part is you don’t have to travel to far.

Some of your target species include Bluefin Trevally, African Pompano, Roosterfish, Cubera Snapper, and Wahoo. On long-range trips, you’ll encounter bigger fish, such as Yellowfin Tuna, Blue Marlin, Sailfish, Swordfish, and Mahi Mahi.

Your fishing license is covered, so just grab some sun protection and everything else will be taken care of, including snacks and drinks. Join Capt. Greg and get ready to explore the Nuevo Vallarta waters with The Future of Fishing!

Greg has been fishing since before he learned to walk as his father used to take him to the Florida Everglades in a backpack. He has fished and/or crewed on some of the best boats in world-famous hotspots, including the Great Barrier Reef, New Zealand, Venezuela, Florida, and The Caribbean. He last operated a charter boat in Vanuatu which specialized in long range day trips. He is a true conservationist and has guided anglers to several world record catches which have been released unharmed.
