RiverTrek NW – Tillamook
RiverTrek NW will take you on an unforgettable Salmon fishing trip all around Oregon. Whether you want to go fishing in Tillamook Bay, Depoe Bay, or Astoria, Wade Grant has you covered. He started fishing when he was a kid and he never stopped. His grandpa taught him how to bait his first hook and now he does the same for other people. Seeing a kid catch his first fish ever is the most rewarding moment in this business.
If you’re interested in booking a trip in Astoria, just check the captain’s second listing. When it comes to fishing in Depoe Bay, note that these trips are weather dependent. That is why the captain requires discussing the details in advance, before booking confirmation.
You’ll be fishing aboard his 23’ Willie Raptor boat. This aluminium boat is powered by a 250 HP Yamaha engine and accommodates up to 6 guests. The boat has all the necessary navigational and safety equipment. US Coast Guard approved life vests are always onboard. Kids under 12 will need their own USCG approved vest that fit them properly.
Tillamook Bay trips focus mainly on Chinook and Coho Salmon, as well as Tillamook Steelhead in the winter and early spring. As mentioned, the main technique will be trolling but you can also expect a bit of drift fishing. Once you’ve finished your trip, the captain will clean the catch for you free of charge.
Your fishing equipment, drinks, and snacks are provided. You’ll need to purchase your fishing license and wear waterproof clothing.
RiverTrek NW welcomes all people who want to have a great day fishing for Salmon or Steelhead! Check Wade’s available dates and join him on this quest.
