My son and I had the most fantastic morning out on the water with Captain Kieran.
Unlike other trips we had been on, this was a far more hands on experience, where we were involved in far more than just reeling in fish.
Captain Kieran frankly loves what he does and loves being out on the water, and that comes across in everything.
We fished off the reef and along the shore, and caught a big Wahoo, a big barracuda, and several smaller varieties - the wahoo and barracuda were bigger than anything we have caught in deeper waters before, and it was such a more enjoyable experience!
Fishing in the shadow of the Pitons with a Captain as friendly, energetic and knowledgable as Captain Kieran was the absolute highlight of our holiday! I cannot recommend Captain Kieran highly enough - just the best morning in the water!

Kieran is INCREDIBLE! His joy and passion for fishing are infectious. As first timers, he helped us catch 3 fish including a 30 pound wahoo! He wants to get to know his clients so he can serve them as best as possible according to your needs. Kieran dressed the fish and gave us a massive fillet that made for a delicious home cooked meal. When inquiring about water taxi transportation he offered to pick us up the following day to snorkel and take us to Soufriere. It was a highlight of our trip - book with him you won’t regret it!!!

Came to St. Lucia on a cruise which didn’t get into port until 8:30am. The AM trip was listed as starting at 7am, but Kieran accommodated us and picked us up right in front of our cruise ship at 8:30am. I had expressed my desire to target large species that we don’t have in the Northeast - mainly marlin and sailfish. Kieran got us setup and trolling a dropoff very quickly. We hooked up a marlin double header around 10:30am, but they both spit the bait and there weren’t any other takers. We had a slow day and moved to shallower water around 1pm, and started catching tons of yellowtail snapper, king mackerel, and jacks. The slow day had turned and Kieran spent another 2 hours with us reeling in fish after fish. We got back to shore after fishing from 8:30am-3pm. It was a great experience, and would do it again in a heartbeat. Kieran does everything in his power to ensure his clients walk away happy. Thanks again!

Let me start by saying Kieran and Brandon are top notch. I fish and also come from a very dense fishing charter area and Kieran does it the right way. He just loves to fish and make his clients happy, it’s not a business for him.  He also picked my wife and I up directly from the resort (don’t book through the resorts). He personally drove us right to his boat and pointed us towards the nice little cafe right on the dock. There’s also some little restaurants there that smelled delicious.  From the moment I hopped in to his car, we felt like family, like you were fishing with a friend.

When I booked I had mentioned I had a few special requests (tuna on light tackle and jigging), he brought great quality gear and we were ready to go!  As we boarded his boat I had the opportunity to talk to the mate, Brandon. He was very friendly and knowledgeable in rigging up the gear. We had barely left the marina and I knew this was going to be great. We start trolling right out of the marina where the shelf drops off, this is crazy to me being an east coast fisherman. Within minutes of Brandon and Kieran figuring out what the fish wanted, my wife caught her first barracuda! Decent size too! Few minutes later we hook up with a black fin and then a BIG knockdown which snapped the line immediately. Few more adjustments and another yellow comes on board, Kieran had a light tackle rod rigged and ready for me - it was time. Dropped gear and within minutes hooked a 15lbs yellowtail on a penn 5000 spinning reel. While 15lbs isn’t much on a 50W, that 5000 got some work in.

This trip was more than just going on a charter on a random island, Kieran has so much passion for this sport and loves putting his clients on fish. My recommendation is no less than 6 hours, we bumped ours from 4 because I just wasn’t ready to call it. I wish I had more time to go again before we leave this gorgeous island, I’d book again and again (and plan to).

Captain had a plan. We had a 7&10 year old and he made sure we caught fish close to shore to start. Great action for the kids to reel in and get the stoke level high. On the way back we went a bit deeper in search of bigger fish, but no luck there. Both boys reeled in two great fish.
We loved jamming to tunes and singing and dancing all the way home. Great experience I would recommend for any family!
