Peterson Fishing Guide Service is inviting anglers visiting Oregon, as well as members of the local, Lincoln County community, to join them for an exploration of the Central Oregon coastal rivers. David Peterson is a local guide, specializing in exciting Salmon and Steelhead trips. If you’re one of the people who believe that great fishing only exists in the ocean, he’ll welcome the opportunity to challenge that belief!
You’ll spend the trip aboard a 2019, 21’ Willie Raptor boat, powered by a 115 HP Yamaha outboard. It can accommodate 5 guests comfortably, all of who can fish at the same time. The boat features heated deluxe seats, the latest onboard electronics, and all the necessary safety equipment. There is also cold storage for both drinks and the catch – giving you everything you need for a fun and productive trip.
Although he likes to stick to several tried-and-true ‘old school’ philosophies in catching fish, David stays on top of the latest trends and gear. You’ll be equipped with top-notch Shimano, G Loomis, Berkley, and Lamiglas gear, and an assortment of bait, spinners, and bobbers, deepening on preference and targeted species.
David guides trips year-round, however depending on the time of the year you decide to join different fishing experiences will be available. So make your pick between the fall Salmon, fall Chinook, spring Chinook, and Winter Steelhead and come meet him on the water. Peterson Fishing Guide Service also runs seasonal crabbing trips, as the Central Coast river estuaries are abundant in Dungeness crab!
Water, coffee, and soft drinks are included on all trips. All you need to bring is food, fishing license, and warm clothing.
