This is why I love taking people offshore fishing. James said he wanted to catch his first wahoo. His 1st was a citation wahoo at 48 lbs. Jeff has been with me several times caught his first sailfish, wahoo, blackfin tuna on my boat. But this trip was different he got surprised with a special catch 30-pound African pompano. To see people like Jeff and James smile as big as they did when they were kids is so awesome. It makes pounding 3 to 4 foot white caps 6 seconds apart for 2 hours runs to the stream worth it. We don't do it for the money it's always for the memories.
