Jason's Fishing Adventures
If you’re looking for a charter to show you around some of the most productive fishing spots in the Crystal River area and beyond, Jason’s Fishing Adventures has a lot to offer!
Your captain and guide, Jason Haynes, is an experienced angler who spent decades chasing big fish, and he’s happy to share his knowledge with other anglers.
His 19’ Proline flats boat with a 150 HP Mercury engine is a reliable ride to the fish hideouts, spacious enough to accommodate up to 2 people. On board, you’ll find navigational electronics that will help you in the pursuit of your prey. A wireless trolling motor will keep you stealthy while you’re sneaking up to spooky fish.
There’s a live bait well in case you prefer fishing with live bait, and Capt. Jason also provides an assortment of lures. When it comes to the gear, you’ll be using Vexan rods and reels to get your catch into the boat.
While we’re on the subject of catch, there’s an abundance of species that could find its way to your hook. Redfish, Snook, and Spotted Seatrout are the most popular ones, but Mangrove Snapper and several species of Grouper could also easily show up too. A lot depends on your fishing preferences and the time of the year.
If you wish, Capt. Jason will clean and fillet everything you reel in free of charge. Kids are always welcome to join on your fishing trip, as long as they’re 5 and older, and there won’t be any additional charge for them. If you’re coming with your little ones, make sure to bring their favorite life jackets.
To come prepared for your fishing expedition, buy a fishing license beforehand, stock up on food and refreshments, and don’t forget sunscreen.
Leave everything else in the capable hands of Jason’s Fishing Adventures and fish on!
