You’ll be fishing from a 21’ Hewescraft fishing boat, built with premium aluminum. This boat is able to tough it out in the choppiest conditions, while at the same time it’s lightweight material will allow you to reach the fishing grounds in no time.
She’s equipped with top-of-the-line Raymarine electronics, a wireless trolling motor, planer boards, dipsy divers, and downriggers. You and 3 other guests will be able to fish comfortably at the same time and kids of all ages are welcome aboard.
You’ll be cruising from the Detroit River into the depths of Lake Erie to target tricky Walleye. You may come across other species along the way, such as a decent-sized Perch or an occasional Steelhead, so be ready to put up a fight against whatever grabs the bait!
The main technique you’ll be using is trolling but you can jig as well. You’ll be provided with state-of-the-art Shakespeare and Okuma gear, so no matter what you choose, you’ll be fishing like a pro.
All of Capt. Keith’s customers agree that he’s an excellent teacher and patient guide. If it’s your first time holding a rod and reel, he’ll help get you set up and do everything he can to put you on fish. If you’re an expert, you’ll be given free rein to fish (responsibly) as you please.
