Saltwater Inspired Life invites you for a day of fishing fun and games on the prolific waters of Los Cabos! Get a taste of this superb fishery under the guidance of Captain Kalindo Ruiz, who spent the last 20 years exploring the best fishing spots in the area.

Capt. Kalindo works alongside an experienced crew, all of whom are natives to this area and have 30+ years of fishing experience on these waters. If you’re looking to add the “fishing with the locals” flair to your family vacation, you’ve come to the right place.

You’ll be traveling aboard “Sofiamoana,” a 29’ Ocean Runner with a center console set-up, and twin Honda 225 HP outboard engines. She was fully restored in 2019 to include comfortable bolsters for the fishing comfort of up to 6 people. She has a large bathroom aboard, 2 live wells, and plenty of sitting space on the bow. She’s also equipped with one fighting chair, and outriggers to maximize your fishing potential.

Capt. Kalindo will take you up to 30 miles offshore for the chance to come up against various world-famous saltwater species including hard-fighters such as Mahi Mahi, Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo, and a variety of Marlin. On half-day trips, you’ll enjoy reeling in Bonito, Spanish Mackerel, Roosterfish, and many more depending on the time of year.

If one day on the water doesn’t seem enough, you can book a 5-day package that includes lodging in a room with a beautiful view of the Sea of Cortez. 

Your trip includes rods, reels, tackle, bait to tempt your catch, drinks, and food for a small additional charge. All you need to bring is a valid fishing license, a long-sleeve shirt, and a camera.
