Come aboard The Bounty, Classic Bertram sport fish, that is fully-equipped to take up to 6 people. With its twin 250 HP Cummins engines, the vessel is stable, fast, very spacious for your friends and family.
You'll find all the comforts of home on this spacious boat, including a small kitchen, a seating area with air-conditioning, and a private toilet. There's an icebox for your catch and a refrigerator where you can put your food and drinks.
Fishing-wise, Capt. Dave takes great pride in providing everything you could possibly need, including top-line rods and reels, cut bait, and an assortment of lures. If you want to use live bait, it can be purchased on the way out or caught with the captain. The boat sports a flybridge and outriggers, so you're covered on all fronts.
When it comes to your prey, there's a wide array of species you can hook, and your guide is happy to customize the trip to your fishing ambitions. Whether it's majestic Sailfish, tough-fighting Wahoo or delicious Mahi Mahi and Tuna you're after, Capt. Dave can make it happen. If you prefer bottom fishing, then Grouper, Snapper, and Amberjack are all in the cards.
The first mate, Teddy, will be with you on the trip to help out with everything you need. He and the captain will even clean and fillet the catch for you after the trip. For his good work, a 18–25% tip is a great way to show your gratitude.
Kids of all ages are welcome to join you on the trip, there will be life jackets for everyone on board. Feel free to bring food and drinks, we provide coolers with ice.

We had an amazing time on this fishing trip! Even catching the bait fish was a blast and kept us entertained the whole time. We were lucky enough to land a 7-foot Golden Dusky shark, which was definitely the highlight of the trip. The entire crew was fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. They made the experience enjoyable from start to finish and worked hard to put us on fish. Whether you’re an experienced angler or just looking for a fun day on the water, I highly recommend this charter. We can’t wait to come back and do it again!
If you are looking for an incredible day on the water with a crew that truly goes above and beyond, look no further than SoFlo Sport Fishing. From the moment we stepped on the boat, the captain and first mate were professional, easy-going, and extremely informative. We headed out into some really challenging ocean swells, but their expertise made us feel completely safe and comfortable the entire time. The fishing was phenomenal—we managed to land a tuna, a king mackerel, and a sailfish! It was an absolute thrill. What truly set this experience apart, however, was the crew’s compassion and attentiveness. I deal with health challenges that make me prone to overheating; despite my planning, the heat became overwhelming. The captain and mate were "on it" immediately. They were incredibly kind, patient, and helpful while I recovered. They even offered to take us inland to escape the swells so we could continue our excursion in calmer waters. To top it off, they gave us a fantastic informative tour of the area while we cooled down. To end the perfect day, they recommended a local place that cooked up our fresh catch for us—and man, it was phenomenal! Their willingness to adapt the trip to ensure my well-being meant the world to us. We had such a great time, and I would recommend them to anyone. I will happily rebook with this captain again in the future!
Chartered a private 4 hour AM fishing adventure with Captain Dave and 1st Mate Nick on 5/5. 6 very satisfied customers caught 9 fish of black fin tuna, king fish, and bonita. After returning to dock, Nick cleaned and filleted all the fish and recommended that we take the fish to a nearby seafood restaurant, the Raw Bar, where they cooked our fish based on how we wanted it prepared. I highly recommend Captain Dave and Nick for your next fishing experience.
All week the weather was phenominal until our fishing day. It was cold but our crew made the trip amazing. If youre looking for a great fishing day, great crew they will not disappoint. They went above and beyond to get our boys as many fish as possible. Captain Dave’s knowledge of the area is sexond to none and Nick and Dre were awesome with the boys. I could continue to write about the entire experience in here, but i just suggest you go experience it!
My son caught a 41” barracuda! I got a smaller one and we also caught some other fish of respectable size. Captain Dave and Nick were very knowledgeable about the fishing areas. The day we were out there was a submarine doing some training. It may have interfered with the fishing but watching it was also an adventure. I would book a future trip with SoFlo
