Topline Sport Fishing – Berkeley
If you’re itching for some solid Halibut action, Topline Sport Fishing will show you exactly where to cast your line! With Captain Nelson Vineyard at the helm, you can spend several hours or a whole day on the waters around Berkeley, looking for your next great catch.
Whether you’ve come to San Francisco Bay to hook the biggest Halibut of your life or you’re curious to experience the incredible Halibut bite, Capt. Nelson will have something for you. You’ll mostly focus on light tackle fishing and drifting to get the attention of these tasty bottom dwellers. When you feel that tug, get ready to reel, because Halibut is a-coming.
Your fishing platform is a 23’ Thunder Jet aluminum boat, outfitted with twin 115 HP Suzuki engines for a smooth ride. There’s plenty of room on board for up to 4 people to fish at the same time, and top-of-the-line rods, reels, and tackle for everyone. If you come face to gills with a lunker, there’s a fighting chair to keep you steady.
Your guide will provide live bait and lures, and the first mate will be at your disposal at all times for any assistance you need. Everything you catch will be cleaned and filleted for your convenience. If you’re happy with the crew’s service at the end of the trip, tips are encouraged and appreciated.
Halibut fishing is a fun fishing adventure for everyone, including children, so if you’d like to come with your little ones, feel free to do so. There are life jackets available for all ages.
To prepare for your fishing jaunt, the most important thing is to buy a fishing license. Bring some drinks and food as well, just in case you get hungry in between the bites.
After that, all you have to do is come aboard and let Topline Sport Fishing take you to that red-hot bite!
