Bloodydecks Fishing Charters - 26'

If fishing is the reason you came to Panama City, Bloodydecks Fishing Charters is here to make your fishing dreams into reality! It doesn’t matter if you’re an amateur or a pro angler, Captain Joel Boyd and his crew have years of experience in finding fish in both inshore and offshore waters.

There a wide array of trips you can choose from, and it all depends on how much time you’ve got and how big your fishing ambitions are. On the shorter trips, you’ll stay in the inshore waters to target Snapper and Roosterfish, and these 5-hour excursions are great for family outings.

Anglers with more substantial fishing appetites can take their pick between expeditions to Panama Bay, Cocos, Otoque Island, 20 Fathom Trench, and the ultimate deep sea fishing adventure. What can you catch there? Well, just about any prized species you can think of – Mahi Mahi, Bigeye and Yellowfin Tuna, Blue and Black Marlin, and Sailfish.

The boat that will take you to the most productive fishing spots is a 26’ Cape Horn motor yacht with twin 225 HP Mercury engines. The vessel is both comfortable for up to 6 people and excellent for big game fishing. There’s a fighting chair to help you reel in your catch, outriggers, Tuna tubes, and a live bait well.

In between the bites, you can relax in an air-conditioned cabin and play your favorite music on the multimedia system. Capt. Joel provides top-of-the-line Shimano, Daiwa, and Penn fishing equipment, as well as live bait and lures. The first mate is there to help you with everything and clean your catch after the trip, and tips are a great way to show your gratitude.

To prepare for your trip, stock up on food and drinks, bring sunscreen, and some spare clothing. Leave everything else in the expert hands of the crew of Bloodydecks Fishing Charters and hit the water to finally hook that trophy catch!

There are many different ways to catch some good-sized bottom fish, but Cocos cold currents make the whole experience even more interesting. To escape the cold Humboldt current, Snapper species and lunker Amberjack move closer to the surface, where the waters are warmer, and this is where you can easily catch them. You'll travel 55 miles from Panama City, so prepare enough food and snacks to last the trip.
