Azores Sportfishing II
Join Azores Sportfishing on the beautiful waters of Azores. The position of the Azores archipelago is ideal for fishing, since the deep sea is within hundreds of meters off the coast. You know what that means – Tuna, Marlin and other Billfish, and a lot of other smaller fish swimming right by your boat.
Get on board the 25’ Fiberglass classic boat, and explore these waters in comfort. Captain Jose Oliveira has been running charters for over 28 years. The boat has all the necessary equipment for a well-spent day at sea and is great for family trips and first-timers.
All the fishing gear needed will be provided on the boat. It has a toilet, a kitchen, and a bed, and plenty of space for everyone to try fishing. There’s navigational equipment on board to help put you on the fish, as well as safety equipment.
You can try out different fishing techniques – test your jigging, spinning, and trolling skills, or see whether you have a knack for bottom fishing. There’s a variety of species you can target like Barracuda, Amberjack, Wahoo, Tuna, Mackerel, Seabream, and other small and tasty native fish.
The first mate will join on all trips, and a 20% tip is expected. Capt. Jose encourages catch and release for anything small and uninjured, but you can keep any impressive fish you catch.
For full day trips, lunch, snacks, and drinks will be provided, and you can eat your own catch! Bring sunscreen, light clothes, shades, and a camera so you can have a fully authentic experience.
All you need to do now is choose the best trip for you, and you’re off to a great adventure with Azores Sportfishing.
