Heritage Excursions, located in Florida’s beautiful Panama City, is much more than your traditional charter boat. Captain Josh Sauls is a multi-generational Panama City fisherman – the Sauls’ family fishing tradition dates back as far as the late 1800s! Who could be better equipped to guide you around these waters?
Capt. Josh and his family want to not only take you fishing, but share their angling heritage with you. You’ll arrive as a customer and leave as a lifelong friend. Your captain’s goal is to make sure that your time on board his vessel with your friends and family is a truly memorable one.
Speaking of his vessel, you’ll be traveling aboard a 36’ Contender center console, built to accommodate up to 6 guests. You’ll all be able to fish at the same time, making this the perfect charter for competitive fishing buddies!
Guests of all ages are welcome aboard, too, so why not bring the whole family along? Your captain will provide life vests for everyone, and the vessel is equipped with top-quality navigational and safety gear.
Capt. Josh offers a huge variety of angling adventures for all skill levels. He’ll take the time to teach you proven fishing techniques, as well as snapping some awesome pictures of you with your catch. If you’re a newer angler, he’ll take you to coastal waters to target King and Spanish Mackerel.
More experience? Head up to 50 miles offshore and try your hand at hooking huge, tasty reef dwellers such as Snapper species, including the mighty Red, and a variety of Grouper. On any trip, you may also find hard-fighting Mahi Mahi or Sailfish at the end of your line! If you want to combine your trip with some sightseeing or snorkeling, just let him know.
If the weather allows, Capt. Josh will even make some delicious snacks out of your catch. Top-quality rods, reels, tackle, and lures are provided, as well as your license. Hop aboard Heritage Excursions and take a piece of this fishing family’s incredible heritage home with you!
