It’s always the right time for superb fishing action and no one knows it better than Captain Jorge Fernandez! He’s been running charters on Herradura Bay and beyond for years, and now, with his new boat, Kingpin II, he’s ready to show you the best of what Costa Rica fishing has to offer.

Join Capt. Jorge on his 30’ offshore fisher, rigged with strong twin 250HP Cummins engines that will take you to the best bite in no time. The vessel is spacious enough for up to 5 people and well-equipped for different types of fishing.

Along with reliable navigational electronics that will keep you on the fish’s hot trail, there’s a live bait on board, a private toilet, and plenty of seating room for your whole party. Rods, reels, live bait, lures, and licenses are all included in the price, so you don’t have to worry about any of it.

The waters of Herradura are teeming with a wide array of beautiful and hard-fighting fish species, and Capt. Jorge knows how to find them all. On shorter trips, you’ll chase the likes of Barracuda, Snapper, Roosterfish, and Jack Crevalle in the nearshore waters. Pick a full day adventure, and you’re off to target Marlin, Sailfish, Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, and even Tuna.

The crew will do everything they can to make your trip comfortable, and they will take care of snacks, drinks, and lunch on board. Whatever catch you decide to keep they will clean your convenience, and for all his hard work, tips are always appreciated.

Up to 2 kids can join you on your trip and learn how to catch their first fish, and Capt. Jorge will have life jackets for everyone. All you have to do to prepare is pack sunscreen, hats, and towels. After that, the crew of Kingpin II will try their best to make your fishing dreams come true!
