You’ll spend the day fishing off of a 21’ Dargel Fisherman bay boat, equipped with all the necessary amenities you need for a successful day of fishing. She comes with ample dry storage area, an icebox to keep your catch fresh, and a spacious deck that accommodates up to 5 guests. The vessel also features a casting platform upfront.
You’ll be provided with top-quality Shimano rods and reels, fly fishing and Flounder gigging equipment, as well as bow fishing gear. The boat also comes with a live well to keep your bait nice and fresh between catches.
The waters surrounding South Padre Island are brimming with some amazing inshore species and you’ll have a chance to go home with a delicious meal for the day. Some of your target species will include Redfish, Snook, Speckled Trout, and Flounder.
Capt. Abraham offers a wide range of techniques that are fun for the whole family. Some of his basic methods include bottom fishing, trolling, and drift fishing, but you can also fly fish, bow fish, and gig for Flounder. Just please note, each person will have to take turns fly fishing and bow fishing, while 3 can gig Flounder at the same time.
Just be sure to purchase your saltwater fishing license at the local Walmart or any sportfishing or tackle store. Capt. Abraham provides sandwiches, chips, soft drinks, and waters on his trips, so all you need to pack is some sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses.
