The fishing has been very good in all areas. The offshore has been producing very well with catches of Sailfish, Wahoo, Kingfish and still finding a few Mahi. Live baiting has been key!!! Fresh caught live Goggle Eyes and Pilchards have gotten the bites. It the time of the year for BIG FISH and SCREAMING DRAGS! The reef bite has been solid producing great Mutton Snapper, Grouper, Yellowtail, Cero and Spanish Mackerel on Live Pilchards and cut bait for Yellowtail. I personally go out at night to catch the quality bait that sets Boneafide Charter apart and above other boats on the water. I cannot stress enough that great bait produces great catches. The reef fishing has been very good! Yellowtail Snapper, Mutton Snapper and a variety of other bottom species have been more than plentiful! The cooler water temps have got them chewing! On the offshore side there are still a few Mahi around and the Tuna bite has been steady. Wahoo are starting to show up and will only get better as goes the same for the Sailfishing! This is a great time of year to be on the water in the Lower Keys!
