Spinning Reels Charters
Join Spinning reels Charters and get ready to target big game species off the coast of Cape Town! Your skipper for the day, Llewellyn Lategan, has spent most of his life on the water. When it comes to deep sea fishing, he’s got the right set of skills to locate the fish and get you hooked up.
You’ll be fishing from a brand new 25’ Carry Cat commercial fishing boat. This vessel’s got everything you need for an offshore expedition, including top-of-the-line navigational electronics and fishing equipment. She accommodates up to 6 guests and has ample insulated storage facilities and dry space.
Skipper Llewellyn offers packages for both beginners and experts. Inshore trips are a great way to find your sea legs and learn how to bottom fish. Here, you’ll be fishing Cape Point and it’s surrounding waters to target the likes of Red Steenbras, Leerfish, Kob, and Yellowtail Amberjack. This is a great introductory trip for families, and kids above the ages of 6 are welcome aboard.
Offshore Tuna trips will take you further off the coast to target various Tuna species. Once you hit the Tuna grounds, you may encounter Yellowfin, Skipjack, Albacore, Bonito, and Bigeye Tuna. This is a great opportunity for experts to show off their skills and challenge themselves against big game fish. Please note, the minimum age for offshore trips is 8.
Top-quality Avet and Shimano Tiagra rods and reels are available on board, and your fishing license is covered as well. Just come straight to Hout Bay Harbor, bring sun protection and comfortable clothing, as well as snacks and drinks, and you’re all set.
Get ready to discover Western Cape and its amazing fishing opportunities. Invite the whole family and start planning your adventure with Spinning Reels Charters!
