South Africa is the perfect destination for your next angling adventure – it’s home to gorgeous beaches, exciting culture, and amazing fishing right off the coast. Hop aboard Cape Agulhas Fishing Charter, departing out of Struis Bay, for some seriously reel-screaming action in some of the most plentiful waters Africa has to offer!

Skipper Riaan Swart is the man behind the helm of this charter, and he’s the perfect person to guide you on your South African fishing excursion. He grew up in this area and loves fishing these waters. His favourite part of running his trips is seeing his guests reel in their dream fish – no matter whether you’re a brand new angler or have some experience under your belt!

If you want to flex your fighting muscles, Riann will take you inshore, where you’ll get to wrestle with the mighty Yellowtail Amberjack. Tasty bottom feeders, like Yellowtail Snapper, can be caught around the many reefs that dot the coastline. If you’re looking to battle some world-famous big game fish, head up to 8 miles offshore, where you’ll find the mighty Mahi Mahi and Tuna species.

You’ll be doing all of this from your skipper’s 24’ CarryCat walkaround vessel, named "Stompie." She can accommodate up to 6 guests, making her a great option for groups of angling buddies! Children are welcome aboard, too, but they must be age 10 or above. Your skipper prioritises safety, so you’ll be provided with top-quality life jackets for all ages.

On board your vessel, you’ll find all the necessary navigational and safety gear, as well as a cooler to keep your snacks and drinks in. Stompie is also fitted with outriggers, which means you’ll get to cover plenty of ground when trolling for your catch!

Your trip includes top-of-the-line rods and reels, tackle, lures, and live bait depending on the season and species you’ll be targeting. You don’t need a fishing license, so all that’s left is to come aboard Cape Agulhas Fishing Charters for an incredible South African adventure!
