Took my wife and teenager (who had never been on a charter) out with Capt. Steve for a morning in early July.  The boat was super clean, well equipped, and maybe most importantly, had a friendly captain ready to assist and make it fun.  We caught a bunch of awesome fish, and the Captain was happy to fillet them when we returned to the dock.  And man, is he fast with a net!  A fabulous charter, would recommend Steve anytime!  Great fun!

Date of Charter: March 28th, 2023

First thing I have to say, “WOW!!! WHAT A GREAT DAY.” We had 3 people on the boat in our group, my dad, my wife, and I. We arrived at the first spot and the bite was on. We caught probably half our limit for 3 people of Speckled Seatrout before we left that first spot. As the bite slowed we moved and he didn’t waste time either when it slowed. We did that a few times and made our limit on Speckled Seatrout. That wasn’t the only fish we caught either. The day consisted of a mixed bag. We limited out on Speckled Trout, a large keeper Pompano, multiple Jack Crevalle, 4 keeper Spanish Mackerel, Lady Fish like crazy, Blue Fish, Silver Trout, and a couple Croaker. All together I would estimate we caught pert near 100 fish. We caught so many fish that when we finally finished up the day we had went through 190 of about 200 shrimp that we were using for bait. Not to mention 2 out of 3 people had sore forearms and shoulders from all the fish we caught. If you don’t put fish in this boat it is because you aren’t listening to Captain Steven. “LET THE FISH TAKE THE BAIT AND BE PATIENT!” He was great at helping my wife and very professional. He never took the fishing rod from her and always asked if he could show her a little better way (She freshwater fishes a lot so she knows how to fish, saltwater is a little different approach). She felt very comfortable the whole time that we were out fishing and that says a lot about a mans character. We had some great conversation and lots of laughs. Captain Steven cleaned all the fish when we got back to the dock and put them in 1 Gallon freezer bags. My wife kept the pelicans away and I held the bags to put the fillets in. 2 bags came home with us and the other bag of fillets went to Steamers restaurant with us for dinner.
I’m not really sure what else to say. Besides that we had an absolute blast and are already planning on doing it again next year. Hopefully we will time it better for Redfish. This is the 4th time that I myself have been out saltwater fishing and I can say that it was definitely the best saltwater charter that I have been on. Usually you feel kind of uncomfortable half the time you are out. Not for us and not this time.

  Started off with a little fog and mostly cloudy, a few breaks in the clouds in the morning and in the afternoon.

Tide: We were able to fish the out going tide and the incoming tide.

Capt. Steve put us right on the fish. He showed excellent patience with my sons fiancé who is pretty new to fishing. I will definitely book with him again.

Captain Steve is great.  He is very efficient and clearly knows how to find the fish.  He was an excellent guide and teacher, especially with my family member who has some limitations.  Hr doesn’t wait long to move after the fish stop biting.  Super relaxed, friendly and professional - highly recommended.
