If you're ready to love fishing in Dauphin Island, we've got you covered with Underdog Fishing Charters.
Top targets include Red Snapper Speckled Trout, Redfish, Flounder, and more, depending on when you go. You'll target your catch by jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
The captain will bring you aboard a 24 pathfinder that holds up to 6 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, and all the essentials. Rods, reels, and tackle are included, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.

Took my 4 year old daughter. Was a little apprehensive since shes never been on a boat. Capt Joey was a professional with kids. Made the trip focused towards her so she had a good experience. We caught a bunch of fish, saw dauphins and go out and played on the beach. We had a great experience. Would definitely use him again.

My wife and I took our 12 year old daughter out on a shark fishing trip for Father’s Day, the girls were apprehensive at first about the sharks and captain joey made a quick detour to get us on some trout, and the girls were “hooked” on fishing and captains joeys personality. He continually put our daughter on the trout and they were “hammers!!!” (His words) We had a blast on the trout and the girls were ready for the sharks!! Once we took the trip out to his “secret” spot we were on the shark in no time. I have been on many guided fishing trips and this was by far the best time I have had on a guided trip because he was so attentive and easy going.
