Whitecap Charters are always ready to provide you with a great fishing experience on Lake Michigan! Your captain is an experienced angler as well as a patient guide who’s happy to introduce you to fishing and make sure you don’t leave empty-handed.
The captain takes his customers out from May to late October. Depending on the season, you’ll be using either light or heavy tackle, and your captain will make sure to maximize your time on the water.
You’ll explore this beautiful lake on his 31’ SeaRay Amberjack motor yacht, restored in 2019. ‘‘Double Trouble’’ is a new addition to Whitecap charters Fleet.
The boat can take out up to 6 people who can all fish at the same time. You’ll be fishing in comfort, using baits provided by your captain.
There is top of the line navigational equipment on board to help put you on the fish.
You’ll find all the fishing equipment provided for you on board, and you’ll fish using top-notch Shimano rods and reels. There’s a variety of fish species that call this lake their home.
We will target Fish like Chinook and Coho Salmon, Walleye, Lake, Brown, and Rainbow Trout, and Yellow Perch at different times of the year.
There’s a Fish cleaning service included in the price, so you can have a taste of your catch upon returning home.
We do also have a Restaurant in Town that will Cook your catch.
Snacks and drinks can be provided, and there’s catering for an extra fee if you want the captain to provide lunch.
